Stain and odour removal from sofas, mattresses and carpets

To assess a stain, we need its source, age and any products already used. Blot fresh liquid without rubbing. Permanent changes to the fibre colour can remain even after the dirt has been removed.

The usual problem is: pet urine, damp smell, coffee, wine, grease, markers, sweat, children’s accidents and old water marks. Before cleaning we ask for photos, district and a short description, because the same service name can mean a very different amount of work.

The method depends on the material. Fabric upholstery, mattresses and carpets may be extraction-cleaned where their construction and care instructions allow it. Leather is cleaned using a separate method without extraction rinsing.

After wet cleaning, ventilate the area and wait until the material is fully dry. Drying time depends on the material and local conditions. Follow the aftercare instructions before using the surface again.

Before arrival it helps to remove small items from furniture or floor, provide access to water and electricity and, if possible, ventilate after cleaning. After the job we explain drying time and when the sofa, mattress, carpet or car can be used normally again.
